Spirals with meat
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
- Spiral pasta — 300 g
- Meat (chicken/pork/beef) — 300 g
- Onion — 1 piece
- Carrot — 1 piece
- Vegetable oil — 2 tbsp.
- Tomato paste or sauce — 2–3 tbsp.
- Garlic — 1–2 cloves
- Salt — to taste
- Ground black pepper — to taste
- Oregano, basil — to taste
- Hard cheese (optional) — 50–70 g
Preparation:
- Boil the spirals until al dente, then drain the water.
- Cut the meat into small cubes and fry in oil until browned.
- Add chopped onions and grated carrots to the meat, fry for another 3–4 minutes.
- Add tomato paste, spices, salt, garlic, and a little water. Simmer for 7–10 minutes.
- Add the boiled pasta, mix and heat together for 2 minutes.
- If desired, sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
Helpful tip
To make the dish even juicier and more aromatic, add 2-3 tablespoons of cream or a tablespoon of butter to the sauce before mixing with the spirals. This will make the sauce more delicate and rich.
