Macaroni with cheese
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
  • Penne pasta — 200 g
  • Cream 15–20% — 150 ml
  • Hard cheese (such as Gouda, Emmental, or Ukrainian) — 100 g
  • Butter — 20 g
  • Garlic — 1 clove
  • Salt, pepper — to taste
  • Greens (parsley or dill) — for serving
Preparation:
  1. Boil the pasta for 1–2 minutes less than indicated on the package, so they remain firm.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet, add the minced garlic and quickly heat.
  3. Add the grated cheese, stir until a uniform sauce forms. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Add the boiled pasta to the sauce, stir and heat for another 1–2 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, sprinkled with herbs.
Helpful tip

To make the dish even more juicy and aromatic, add 2–3 tablespoons of cream or a tablespoon of butter to the sauce before mixing with the spirals. This will make the sauce more tender and rich.
