Spirals with meat
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
  • Spiral pasta — 300 g
  • Meat (chicken/pork/beef) — 300 g
  • Onion — 1 piece
  • Carrot — 1 piece
  • Vegetable oil — 2 tbsp.
  • Tomato paste or sauce — 2–3 tbsp.
  • Garlic — 1–2 cloves
  • Salt — to taste
  • Ground black pepper — to taste
  • Oregano, basil — to taste
  • Hard cheese (optional) — 50–70 g
Preparation:
  1. Boil the spirals until al dente, then drain the water.
  2. Cut the meat into small cubes and fry in oil until browned.
  3. Add chopped onions and grated carrots to the meat, fry for another 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add tomato paste, spices, salt, garlic, and a little water. Simmer for 7–10 minutes.
  5. Add the boiled pasta, mix and heat together for 2 minutes.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
Helpful tip

To make the dish even juicier and more aromatic, add 2-3 tablespoons of cream or a tablespoon of butter to the sauce before mixing with the spirals. This will make the sauce more delicate and rich.
